hey guyyss! 

how're you all doing today? enjoying the snow? i do like snow, it's sweet when you're inside with a cuppa and an apple pie but not so cute when you're braving the cold to get in to college haha. to be honest i could have been warmer but i'm the pro of inappropriate weather dressing, and i really wanted to wear this outfit today so i thought what the heck! i wanted to do a lovely 'in the snow' blog post but in reality taking the pictures on my ipad, without an umbrella and a hungry sister for a photographer i decided to take them in my room instead haha. so here's what i wore today.

i really like the all black combo, but since it was freezing i decided to pair it with one of my favourite vintage shirts. i really like the pattern of the shirt especially with the asymmetrical sleeves. no matter how cold it gets, if i'm wearing tights i only really wear thin tights, just because of personal preference. when i was younger i used to wear loads of patterns and crazy colours but now i stick to simple plain black, but i remember seeing some back seam tights similar to these on tumblr a little while ago and loved them, so when i saw them in american apparel i was so excited. the back seam gives a really cool burlesque-like feel to them whilst still being quite subtle and easy to pair with an outfit. all worn with my diamond dozen beanie - a must, and my aggy strap boots simply because i love them and their chunkiness give a nice contrast to the delicacy of the rest of my outfit.

hey everyone!

how're you all? it's that grey time of year now where everyone's gotten over the new year excitement, the sky's grey, the festive buzz has died down and everyone's back to every day life. this morning was a struggle to get out of my cosy warm bed and pack my schoolbag but i thought instead of being dull, i'd wear something sunny to brighten up my day. also, as you may notice haha i got a tattoo on friday (which is why i'm holding my right arm strangely haha, it's of a dove holding a paintbrush! :D click here if you want to see a better picture of it.

i saw these trousers a few months ago before i started working in american apparel and i fell in love with them, however i was so gutted when i tried them on and found that the extra small was too tight, and the small was a little too loose. but since i've been working i've learnt that the sizes vary slightly from pair to pair so i tried them on again and they fit! i love the classic houndstooth print which usually would have been smart - in fact a lady who was about 80 asked me where i got them from haha - but i paired them with my bright yellow tee which i picked up in the rokit sale last summer for 3 quid then cropped myself, to make them a little more casual. i added my black stripe socks and beanie to keep up the casual style, but then paired the outfit with my chunky ankle boots to bring back the smart a little so the outfit was suitable for college. 

how was all your first day back into normal life? i'm off to finish watching got to dance (hello ashley banjo :P), then get on with a bit of sociology revision for my exam next week! take care, ronan x

happy new year everyone!

how are you all? i hope you've had an amazing christmas and i wish you all the most amazing year to come in 2013! it seems like this year has flown by but for me it's been great, and i expect even more from this year! i've made a few resolutions, which are to eat healthier, exercise more, focus more at college and to get back into blogging properly! and i'm super motivated now seen as for christmas, i scored on prezzies and one of which is a trip to new york in june eeeeeek! so i'm super excited for that and it's given me loads of motivation for to try my hardest in my a levels. today i'm just gonna show ya what i wore on the first day of the rest of my life!

i felt so gassed today with this outfit on haha it's got to be my favourite outfit in a while! i've wanted these bitching and junkfood leggings for aaaages but they're always sold out and i'm always too poor, so i was ecstatic when i got them for christmas! they're soooo soft and i adore the print. if you follow me on instagram 'ronanksm' you'll notice that i'm a little bit obsessed with turtlenecks as well haha and this grey one is one that i got when i first started working at american apparel and thought it suited my leggings, although i decided to break up the grey a little with my thick black belt. also i snapped this coat up in the asos sale a few days ago! i had been looking for one with hardly any success, as i wanted something smart-ish that would suit the casual threads i normally wear and i fell in love with this textured woolen number as soon as i saw it. i hardly go anywhere without one of my diamond dozen beanies now, they're a necessity for keeping my head warm (no my hair isn't enough!) and they're such a bargain that i can't help myself. notice my new diamond dozen banner in my sidebar which means you lucky lot can get 20% off the collection so you should definitely check it out! all this paired with my chunky new boots i picked up in the office sale on christmas eve, it makes me a pretty happy ronan, haha :)
