hey guyyyys!

how're you doing? :) i'm gooood! 

did you all enjoy fashion week? i was so jealous of all of you who got to go, although youtube has filled me in on the whole thing haha. i've just been enjoying my week off college by doing literally no work, and spending too much time having breakfast in bed. although i have been doing pilates every morning and i even went for a mile run this morning, crazy i know! haha, i was completely dead when i came back though, panting outside my house. need to start going more often because it feel soo good and i do miss athletics a little bit. anyway, today i just did some artwork, and i'm off out later with some friends so here's what i wore/am wearing.

eeeeeek! i'm so excited to show you my new blackmilk call of napoleon leggings! i ordered them a few weeks back since i've wanted some blackmilk for ages but the price tag put me off, but i got a nice hefty 5 week paycheck after christmas and decided to go for it and i am so impressed. you can feel the quality in the material and the print on them is amazing. paired with a turtleneck (a necessity for this weather) and my oversized slazenger jumper which i cleverly tucked and belted under so it looks cropped - because i wanted to show off the whole of the leggings, and to make a sweater and leggings be suitable for a night out haha. also with my timberlands because it just felt right haha. i love i've managed to combine my favourite baggy+tight combo, into an outfit which is wearable day and night, also suitable for the cold weather!

this is also the first time i've ever had my hair up on my blog, i always have it up and home but hardly ever go out with my hair up. but i decided continue living on the very edge haha, and i tested out this up-do when i went out at the weekend and i really liked the change. especially with this aqua scrunchie that i got.

how're you all doing, soaking up london fashion week through every orifice haha? there has definitely been an influx of well dressed people wandering around london, and it's all come with a little bit of sunshine which has been lovely. last week i caught up with model, vintage & charity shop loving, wannabe vegetarian (who eats pepperoni) huw, who modelled for yves saint laurent at paris fashion week. huw, who studies art, english language, history and philosophy with hopes of furthur studying art history after college, was scouted to model for yves saint laurent alongside one of huw's style inspirations - zachary robinson from swim deep. huw doesn't have style icons as such, instead i decided to call 'huw style' a collection of inspiration from people that he sees on the street, and his fascination with textures - thus explaining why huw's favourite designer is james long.

simplistic but intricate at the same time, huw's love of texture stretches to the rest of his wardrobe with his plaid blazer. he doesn't tend to accessorize much but if he does it will be a textures scarf, rings or adding one of huw's many coats. on huw's 'want list' at the moment are uniqlo - one of huw's favourite high st shops - pastel coloured trousers, and a pair of jeffrey west cuban heeled boots which you can check out here.

how're you doing? i'm goood! had my interview at ravensbourne university today and i got in! :D eeeek! wasn't expecting them to tell me that day but the interviewer seemed really impressed with my work and she said i'd got a place and so i'd just receive a letter to confirm it. here's what i wore to my interview today. oh, and excuse the bit of plastic just chillin in my garden haha, it's been neglected since summer.

i picked up this gorgeous cord shirt dress from the vintage store on brick lane on wednesday. i had one of these previously but it was cotton, and i ended up cropping it and dip dying it as i grew too tall for it to be a dress. but then i saw this one on wednesday and i couldn't help myself, especially as it was an absolute steal at £25! ella from the vintage store said that it had only been on the shop floor for 5 minutes before i snapped it up haha. i then picked up this rokit remade cropped turtle neck which i think subtly compliments the red ralph lauren logo. all paired with my aggy strap boots because these and the office booties from my last post are my faves at the moment!

how're you all doing? :) i'm goood, feel like i haven't posted in ages. i've been so busy the last few weeks getting back into the college and work routine after christmas. i've heard back from ravenbourne university and i've got my interview on friday eek! so i've just been sorting my portfolio out, got a bit more to do but hopefully it goes okay! i also wrote my first press release for the brand new diamond dozen fisherman beanie which you can check out here.

so today i wanted to go for something cosy as i had a lot of art to do, so i decided to wear my brand new etnies sweater which was sent to me by the lovely people at zalando. zalando is a german online shop which features a wide and diverse range of different high st and designer brands and products at the click of a button. comparable to asos, zalando offers a lovely range of shoes, clothes and accessories with free delivery, so click here to check it out! as you may have noticed if you follow my instagram, i'm a sucker for a sweater, and this etnies one hit the 11 year old wannabe avril lavigne skater girl inside me hahaha, paired with my colour blocked chiffon shirt and ankle boots, i like the way this outfit is casual but the layering of it and pop of red, alongside the colour splashes at the back give a hint of smart. sort of a reverse mullet - business at the back, party at the front haha!
