i wish i worked in american apparel

hey everyone!
sorry i haven't posted in almost a week! i've been really busy up in somerset but having a lovely break from london :) ruby's gone to her college induction today so i've spent the day almost breaking my hand trying to kill a fly (that i still haven't killed) and taking ruby's adorable dog cookie (who's got a sore paw) for a walk which has been lovely!
last saturday was ruby's parents wedding which was absolutely beautiful! we'd had some weather scares but it turned out to be a lovely sunny day which was lovely :) yesterday, ruby and i went to bristol to find a pair of jeans as she's been literally living in my hollister pants! and we found some which was fab, but i restrained myself from buying anything! although if they had these soft jeans in my size i would have.. :P
-------------------------------
american apparel is one of my favourite shops, i want everything in there and i would do pretty much anything to work there. ruby and i found 3 things we need in there this time we need.
Photobucket
you've probably seen this on all of my "wants lists" ever. i just love it, it's different there's so many different ways to style it!
Photobucket
if this beauty wasn't £68... i'd have 100 of them! reasons to work in american apparel 1: store discount.
----------------
Photobucket
as you can probably tell, this jumper is perfect for any occasion and could be casual or formal!
Photobucket
ruby didn't even want to take it off because it was so soft and comfortable, but for £57... it was a little out of our price range. reasons to work at american apparel number 2: you'll always look flyyyyy ;)
-----------------
Photobucket
i love them, i need them, i want them so much
Photobucket
although yes, as ruby pointed out to me, i could get close to the same thing for about £12 (instead of the £64 american apparel are after) at a farming shop but there's something about this particular pair that i just love so much!
Photobucket
they could be worn smartly or casually (which is how i plan to market them to my mum during college shopping) and they'd compliment many shapes and sizes!
Photobucket
as you can see by my particularly colourful retro-ish shirt, they go with anything! if i worked at american apparel i'd have them in all 7 colours they offer! (black, cream, brown, navy, bottle green, grey and light grey).
-------------------------------
jeans shopping!
topshop being one of the most common and well known high street shops ever, is obviously one of the first places one would look to find new jeans...
Photobucket
topshop supersoft skinny jeans - £36.
below in navy blue. ruby bought them because they're lush! but i didn't buy my ones because although i loved them so much, they weren't quite as long as i wanted.
Photobucket
i always buy jeans that "just fit" but then when i grow, they're short and i have to alter them. but, low and behold online on topshop, i found the perfect size! w25, l34 and so if my funds allow, i will have a new pair of jeans!
-----------------
here's just a quick pic of what i wore yesterday -
Photobucket
shirt - h&m. corduroy shorts - american apparel.

and last but not least! here are  a few pictures from saturday i thought i'd share with you :) sorry some o them refused to rotate!
Photobucket
mmmm wedding cake!
Photobucket
susanna and i in our flower girl dresses :)
Photobucket
immy, ellie, eleanor, rosie, susanna and rachel calm before a game of spoons ;)
Photobucket
