evening! late post tonight because my internet was being so slow! which means i'm also quite tired so wont talk too much tonight :) hope you've all had a lovely day and looked great even though the weather wasn't so bright today in london :) although i did decide to get some things i haven't worn in so long out! so i thought i'd do a little outfit post, then show you some of my recent art coursework :)
blazer- river island courtesy of mum. i love the timeless nautical pattern and i remember the day mum bought me it, i came home from school and she'd randomly bought it for me, so lovely of her and i'll keep it forever! you've gotta love padded shoulders!
tee- made by siobhan, painted by me. it's so comfortable and lightweight! let me know if you want me to paint you one and siobhan and i will sort out a price etc :)
nail polish- rimmel. i quite like this photo even though the camera lead got in the way. you can see how long my nails have grown :D yes they're real!
drainpipe grey leopard print jeans- h&m. i got these about 3 years ago and they still fit .. well after some squeezing in the bootay but once they're on they fit so comfortably although they're a little short! i love them because i haven't seen anything else like them since and i can wear them in so many different ways.
kicks - classic reeboks. i remember the day i got these, the week before my fourteenth birthday and i went to westfields white city shopping centre with mum because i wanted a new pair for my collection. 2 and a half years on and i've still kept them in pristine condition. i love them so much, and i love how the animal print matches my jeans.
just liked this photo :) necklaces- not sure where they're from, heart one was a present from mum which is sort of my lucky charm. and the cute little bear one is a present from siobhan.
what's better than a good pair of shoes? well... not having jack ups is but apart from that :P
je m'appelle ronan.
my socks are these lovely grey socks with flowers on that mum got me from peacocks :D i should have taken a photo of them really. i just love this photo of piana thoroughly enjoying herself :P
yeah alright piana i'll stroke you in a minute!
example came on and inspired these catch ronan dancing photos ;)
look at my nails mayunn look at my pride and joy!
i love this outfit because it's casual and good for everyday but also is colourful and looks that little bit different :) i'm not usually one for animal print but these jeans have been great for 3 years and i'm sure if they still fit when i'm 19 i'll still be wearing them! to get a simple but individual outfit, throw together a few different prints and then add a simplifier (the tee in my case) to balance it out.
okay so as promised :) i thought you might want to see a couple of pictures and paintings from my art coursework-
this is a self portrait done in oil pastels showing happiness.
oil pastels to show sadness #1
acrylic paints. both in the contrasting style of karl schmidt-rottluff. the one on the right is a bit animalistic :) the painting below is from the same photo bottom right corner.
this is the same thing but of my beautiful friend catrina :)
acrylic paint and pva glue- action painting in the style of jackson pollock #1
okay so i hope you've enjoyed reading this outfit and having a look at my artwork :) let me know what you think! have a lovely sunday my friends :) ronan xxx
