happy bank holiday!
today's been great hasn't it! easing back into work or school with this little bank holiday. i've been getting down to some work, (going to asda and stuffing my face with chocolate eclairs) :P haha. but yesterday i did hours of art, and today my gorgeous friend keisha (http://myrevolvingfashionworld.blogspot.com/) came round to help me out with my music gcse ensemble performance to which i'm accompanying her on piano, while she sings hometown glory by adele. maybe i'll put a video of us doing it up if i can persuade her :P
anyway so today my sister siobhan (http://www.siobhanmckenzie.co.uk/) and i popped to the supermarket for my mum, but we decided to turn it into a little photoshoot which was very fun which you'll see from the photos :P but she is wearing a gorgeous dress, and i hope you like my outfit too :)
------------------
this is the first time i've got my hair into a high ponytail without the help of mummy and i'm actually so proud of myself! :P
maxi dress handmade by siobhan available at www.siobhanmckenzie.co.uk, which is beautifully made and with such good quality fabric as you can tell from the pictures!
belt- river island, siobhan said she got it for a fiver! i love the way the belt matches the red stitching on the inside of the dress and adds some colour to the outfit to make it even more gorgeous, also it was a bargain! sandals-roberto botella.
top-h&m, i cut it following in the customizing footsteps of the amazing monzie (http://euqinom7.blogspot.com) becuase it was too short to be a dress, but too long to be a top so i trimmed it with the help of siobhan.
"the hollister jegging" - let me explain myself. usually, jeggings are one of the fashion flops that i can't get over. but then one day, i was in hollister and i decided to try them on and they're amazing. they're so comfortable and stretchy, and quite thick so no awful vpl (visible pantie line) attacks!
shoes- toms. i think i've gone on about toms for long enough, but you really can wear them with absolutely anything, they're durable, comfortable and just generally amazing and everyone should own a pair!
also, for every pair of toms that you buy, toms donate a pair of toms to children and people in developing countries, how great is that! i love that my outfit is simple and comfortable but also looks good :)
brown skinny belt- primark. it cost me a pound, bargain much! the picture on the right is at the bottom of my road which looks so shabby haha, this was actually the first picture siobhan took of me and then said, "let's do these somewhere else.. this looks a bit hood" hahaha. complete with scraggly wire and food village in the background i had to agree.
jacket- kate moss for topshop and bag- river island. what i love about siobhan's outfit is the subtle matching, that it's great for summer, comfortable and she also looks stunning in it :) you should check out her website for other fab looks for summer!- http://www.siobhanmckenzie.co.uk/.
